Position Overview:
We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to support our creative team in developing graphic arts and designs for dye sublimation garments. This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate eager to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced design environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of digital artwork based on initial design sketches.
- Create and refine print layouts for dye sublimation garments.
- Build graphics for multiple garment sizes while maintaining design integrity.
- Develop special effects and textures for flat prints to enhance garment aesthetics.
- Ensure proper print placement and alignment for production.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure seamless transitions from digital files to physical products.
- Occasionally assist in marketing-related projects, such as promotional graphics and digital content, though this is not the primary focus of the role.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of basic design principles, including color theory, layout, visual aesthetics, and hierarchy.
- Understanding of file formats and image resolution.
- Experience creating assets for print.
- Existing design portfolio containing print and digital projects.
- Proof of graphic design education (university setting or otherwise).
- Strong written communication skills.
- A fine art/illustration background is a plus.
