Communications and Marketing Intern
What You’ll Do:
The Corporate Communications intern writes, prepares, and/or reviews articles and other communications to be used in company publications. They coordinate the preparation and distribution of company publications, and ensure all work follows branding policies and standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for gathering content, writing, editing, and proofing company newsletter
- Coordinate, help write, lay out, and distribute communications, as needed
- Provide service support in order to establish proper channels of information and communication
- Design graphic artwork with direction from department heads for Communications department requests, including, but not limited to:
- banners
- brochures
- posters
- logo designs
- image resizing
- website and landing page materials
- digital images
- newsletter templates
- Support video and/or photoshoots as requested
- Aid in writing press releases, as needed
- Support manager in contacting vendors for requested projects
- Proofread content
- Attend weekly content meetings
- Adhere to timelines
- Maintain a status report updated weekly with current projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications or related discipline from a four-year college or university
Experience
- Work on student publications in high school or college
- Knowledge of transportation including experience a plus

- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and prioritizing skills
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Willingness to take on evolving responsibilities and challenges
