We are a family-owned and operated 64-unit inn, nestled directly on the pristine, seven miles of white sandy beaches of Old Orchard Beach. Our Inn is a popular destination for guests seeking a relaxing, coastal getaway. As a family business, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and caring environment for both our guests and our staff. We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to join our team for the upcoming season and play a key role in maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping team. This role is integral to ensuring that our rooms and public spaces are always clean, comfortable, and ready for our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assign rooms to housekeeping staff and manage daily room cleaning schedules.
• Conduct room inspections to maintain our high-quality standards.
• Oversee laundry operations, ensuring that linens and towels are cleaned, pressed, and stocked as needed.
• Ensure the smooth running of housekeeping operations, including supply management and maintaining proper inventory levels.
• Maintain a positive and productive work environment for staff, ensuring proper communication and teamwork.
• Ensure all housekeeping staff are trained and knowledgeable in safety protocols and health regulations.
• Handle guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping in a professional and timely manner.

Schedule:

• May – October: Full-time, 5 days per week.
• November – April: Flexible Schedule Part-time, 2-3 days per week.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality management is preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
