Marketing Intern
Natural Plant Products LLC supplies botanical ingredients to the global personal care industry. Our seed oils and seed extracts have unique chemistries that make them viable alternatives to synthetic emollients, suitable for use in a wide range of applications including skin care, color cosmetics, hair care, and more. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team, gaining hands-on experience in marketing and production within the personal care industry. This position will report to the Product Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
As Marketing Intern, you will:
- Assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns for our ingredients and personal care products across multiple channels (digital, social, and print).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Help manage our social media accounts by creating engaging content and tracking performance metrics.
- Support product launches, promotional materials, and customer outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and product positioning.
- Develop a proposal for structuring an online store front.
- Assist with bottling and packaging products during monthly on-site visits to understand the production process and support operations.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide insights to improve future strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Passion for personal care, skincare, or beauty industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts (SEO, email marketing, analytics).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable with occasional hands-on tasks like bottling and packaging products during on-site visits.
- The successful candidate will need to report to the production facility in Salem, OR once per month and occasionally visit farms located in the Willamette valley.

Compensation:
- This is a paid internship, 5-10hrs per week, with a rate of $17/hr.
