Business Administration Intern

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Administration Intern to join our dynamic real estate office in Port Jefferson. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the real estate industry while developing essential business and administrative skills. The successful candidate will assist in daily office operations, support the real estate team, and contribute to the efficient management of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Assist with day-to-day office operations, including filing, data entry, scheduling, and answering phone calls.
    • Organize and maintain office records, both digital and physical, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
    • Prepare correspondence, presentations, and reports for internal and external communications.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Greet clients and visitors, offering excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
    • Schedule and coordinate property viewings, client meetings, and appointments.
    • Provide clients with basic information about properties and assist in follow-ups.
  • Real Estate Support:
    • Assist with listing management by uploading and updating property listings on various real estate platforms.
    • Conduct research on local real estate trends, market data, and property comparables (comps) for the real estate team.
    • Help organize open houses and other client-facing events.
  • Marketing Assistance:
    • Contribute to social media management by drafting posts, sharing property updates, and engaging with followers.
    • Assist in creating marketing materials, such as brochures and flyers for properties.
    • Support the marketing team with campaigns and community outreach efforts.
  • Special Projects:
    • Participate in special projects that may include research, process improvement, or office initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in real estate, property management, and business operations.
