Communication Specialist

Non-profit trade association seeks a passionate Communication Specialist to develop and execute impactful internal and external communication strategies, crafting compelling messaging across various channels, develop content creation, and assist with video and graphic design needs.

Preferred qualifications Duties will include assisting with website and social media posts, including original content and video content, design and production of marketing pieces, assisting with the sponsorship program and providing proofing/editing support for all digital and print communications. Candidate will aid the Communications Director at trade shows and other association events.

  • include completion of a structured education at the post-secondary level, preferably a bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing or Journalism. 
  • Skilled in computer use and necessary software programs, such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft Office. Experience with video editing and content management systems is a plus. 
  • Extensive experience with social media
  • Effective communicator in both oral and written communication. 
  • Candidate is willing to learn about the RV and camping industry.
