International Federation of Accountants, Communications Intern

II. POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated undergraduate or graduate student to work with IFAC full-time, for 8 weeks. The Intern will work specifically with Communications team. Our Communications team develops and executes strategies across various media platforms that advance the global accountancy profession and IFAC’s public interest mission. This includes oversight of all executive and leadership communications, media relations, digital and social communications, and reputation management.
III. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in creating, editing, and reviewing content for publications, including but not limited to press releases, social media updates, and internal communication materials.
- Assisting with the development of social media material and monitoring company social media accounts.
- Assisting with website design and implementation.
- Conducting research on trends and performing data analysis to enhance IFAC’s online presence.
- Assisting in organizing and coordinating internal and external events, webinars, or press conferences.
- Participating in internal team meetings and gaining insight into how relationships both internally and externally are developed and maintained.
- Supporting IFAC staff on ongoing projects and other initiatives.
Summer interns will work under the supervision of management but are expected to work independently and undertake other tasks as needed.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS
- Obtaining a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and graduating in 2026 or 2027.
- Excellent research and analysis skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage projects and work independently.
- Flexible, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude, willing to take on projects and ask questions as needed.
This will be a hybrid position with both in-office and at-home work. This is a paid position with an hourly rate of $25-$30.
