CTE Coordinator/Director

Position Available: CTE Coordinator/Director for Duchesne County School District

(This position may or may not be combined with the Data & Statistics Specialist

depending on the qualifications and skills of those who apply.)

Location: DCSD District Office in Roosevelt, UT

Job Description:

  • Oversee CTE Budget allocated with state and federal funds.
  1. Manage budget allocations with CTE Secretary (determine teacher and counselor budgets. 
  2. Manage purchases and all financial aspects of CTE.
  • Attend CTE Director’s Meetings 4-5 times per year. Pass information back to district admin, counselors, and teachers.
  • Serve on the State CTE Skills Certificate Committee. Meet twice per year, and pass information back to Region and teachers.
  • Serve on Region CTE Executive Committee. Meet at least once per quarter, depending on needs.
  • Serve on Uintah Basin CTE Consortium. This is part of the Region Executive Committee, but is more specific to Perkins.
  • Help write and submit all Perkins funded grants for the Region by coordinating with the other region CTE Directors.
  • Work with CTE Teachers to make sure funding for supplies and equipment is sufficient. Make sure all equipment is updated, repaired, and in working order.
  • Work with CTE Teachers to ensure proper training and safety protocols are in place.
  • Work with principals to ensure teachers are qualified and we are providing the best courses and curriculum for the schools.
  • Ensure that our district is in compliance with Civil Rights laws and requirements.
  • Work with school counselors to promote CTE programs, courses, pathways, and programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary: As per district salary schedule

Start Date: Upcoming school year
