Paid Film Production Internship

The Hartford Film Company plans to offer at least 2 paid internship opportunities for the summer of 2025. The internship will be designed to offer a broad exposure to the wide variety of careers in film production, including:

• Script development
• Hands on camera and cinematography work
• Editing
• Commercial concept development
• Social media video production
• Budgeting, scheduling, and producing

In addition, interns will walk away with skills and experience in:

• Standard communication norms and email etiquette
• Film set standards and etiquette
• Entry level assistant editing

The exact timeframe of the internship is still to be determined, and can be flexible based on the interns other obligations, but is estimated to be 40 hours per week, at $16.35/hour, for up to 8 weeks. The only requirements are a passion and interest in film production, and ability to work in person at our offices in Hartford.
