Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

Process Optimization:

  • Streamline and improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and manage operational staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for team performance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure team members reach their full potential.

Resource Management:

  • Oversee the allocation of resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and oversee supply chain operations.

Budgeting & Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for the operations department.
  • Monitor and control expenses to ensure the department operates within the financial guidelines.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

  • Work closely with departments such as sales, marketing, HR, and finance to ensure that operational goals align with overall business objectives.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and partners.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure products or services meet the quality standards expected by the company and its customers.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies.

Performance Reporting:

  • Analyze performance metrics and generate reports for senior management.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

Problem-Solving:

  • Address operational challenges and resolve issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
  • Make decisions that are in the best interest of the business and its long-term success.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure that operations adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Promote a safe working environment and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree may be preferred).
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in operations management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operations management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
