Coordinator, Business Development

JOB SUMMARY

Kutak Rock LLP seeks a Coordinator to join the firm’s national Business Development and Marketing department. This role will assist the Business Development team in organizing and coordinating activities supporting the firm with the preparation and coordination of proposals and pitches, marketing collateral, narrative overviews, client presentations, tracking and database management and other administrative support.

 

This full-time hybrid position is available to candidates in close proximity in one of the following firm offices: Atlanta, GA; Denver, CO; Little Rock, AR; Kansas City, MO; Minneapolis, MN; Omaha, NE; Scottsdale, AZ; and Spokane, WA.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, develop and evolve practice overviews, custom pitch and proposal content, and representative experience descriptions 
  • Create and update designed marketing materials, including brochures, one-pagers, presentations, event collateral, and biographies
  • Coordinate pitches, proposals, and RFP responses, including drafting, formatting, packaging, and submission
  • Coordinate the collection of representative legal experience and input data in the firm’s business development databases
  • Document, save and maintain content, including recording information in relevant trackers and databases
  • Support and manage practice and working group events and meetings, including tasks related to hosted events, webinars, seminars, conferences, and sponsorships
  • Assist with submissions to, and maintain listings in, major directory and award programs
  • Coordinate with business development managers, attorneys, other departments, and organizations to collect and/or provide required information as needed
  • Assist in developing PowerPoint slide decks
  • Proofread and edit materials
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of attention to detail, accuracy and consistency
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to anticipate needs and exercise critical thinking
  • Ability to work independently as well as manage projects and assignments in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals
  • Strong computer skills and, specifically, experience and proficiency with various Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite preferred

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience

  • High School degree or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred
  • Minimum two years of experience in marketing or business development at a law firm or other professional services organization preferred

 

Position Information

Status: Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $55,000-$69,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience

Work Arrangement: Hybrid
