Quality Control Inspector
This individual will work with our Plant Manager, Shift Supervisors and Machine Operators across all shifts in managing quality control and inspection programs throughout our operation.
This individual will also work with and assist the production teams with product testing, quality control, documentation and product packaging.
This is a production environment with daily production and quality goals that must be met. Attention to detail and good manufacturing practices are of utmost importance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Quality Inspection of finished product
- Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
- Review engineering drawings, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece
- Document and maintain production documentation.
- Cleaning, organizing and maintaining production tooling, quality control gauges, and product samples
- Scan product and production data and enter into tracking systems
- Transmission of recognized improvements of quantity/quality or cost reductions to Shift Supervisor
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Key Competencies Required:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Computer Skills including MSFT office and related software
- Knowledge of mathematics and ability to apply basic algebra and geometry
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Associates degree
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English (Spanish language is a plus)
- Ability to work as a team player and interact with managers and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Possess the energy and drive to accomplish goals, meet deadlines and find solutions
- Experience with engineering design software a plus
