Summer Employment Opportunity: Ambulatory Assistant at Genesee Valley Equine Clinic
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in veterinary medicine this summer? Genesee Valley
Equine Clinic is seeking a motivated and reliable Ambulatory Assistant to join our team for 3-4 days per
week. This position will allow you to get a firsthand look at “life on the road” while assisting our
veterinarians during appointments and supporting our mobile team.
Responsibilities:
 Assist veterinarians with on-site appointments
 Prepare and organize vehicles for daily use
 Set up and care for veterinary equipment
 Prepare and package lab samples for submission
 Work closely with our experienced road warriors and learn about ambulatory veterinary care
Requirements:
 Valid driver’s license (must be able to drive clinic vehicles)
 Passion for horses and interest in veterinary medicine
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 Available for summer work (3-4 days per week)
