Park Maintenance Worker – Farmpark– Seasonal
Rate: $12.25/hour – starting rate based on prior experience and education
Location: Farmpark, Kirtland, OH 44094
Position Description:
Under direction of supervisor, the Park Maintenance Worker completes building and/ grounds maintenance at their assigned location(s).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs general park clean up.
- Performs park maintenance including mowing park grounds, painting, picking up litter, and landscaping.
- Assists with minor repairs on buildings and/or machines and performs custodial tasks.
- Assists with special event set-up.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior experience in maintenance preferred.
Position Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of painting.
- Skilled in performing moderate construction.
- Skilled in customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to operate vehicles/truck and trailer properly.
- Ability to safely operate RTV’s, small power tools, and other power equipment and hand tools as required.
- Ability to work independently and be able to travel to multiple locations to clean, move equipment and/or perform other landscaping needs.
- Proficiency in computer software programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Variable work schedule, up to 40 hours per week.
- May be occasionally required to work flexible hours, weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Must possess a valid drivers’ license and insurable on the Agency’s liability policy. Pre-employment background check required.
