Marketing and Operations Manager

Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing and executing a variety of marketing strategies and communication initiatives designed to increase brand visibility, engagement, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels, and be passionate about leveraging email marketing and social media to build brand visibility and community engagement.

In this role, you will work closely with the Creative Mines team to drive engagement and growth for Creative Mines and partner company, 101 Quincy Coworking.

Job Type

This posting is for a full-time managerial position starting as soon as March 2025.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative Mines
    • Grow and segment email lists on Mailchimp to deliver tailored content to business owners, stakeholders, and decision-makers with engaging campaigns and compelling designs.
    • Regularly evaluate campaign effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments to enhance communication strategies and achieve optimal engagement.
    • Oversee our LinkedIn account, ensuring it is active and engaging through curated content and captivating designs.
    • Actively interact with our online community, addressing comments and messages promptly to foster positive relationships.
    • Work closely with the design team on print and digital materials, contributing to cohesive branding efforts.
    • Manage and oversee recruiting efforts during on-campus recruiting seasons at Michigan Technological University, including events, career fairs, and social engagement.
    • Oversee HR efforts, including grant applications, interviews, and recruitment.
    • Enhance our online presence through well-designed landing pages, leveraging WordPress and Elementor to create effective layouts and content.
    • Plan and execute internal company events one to two times a year, adding to workplace culture and energy.

 

  • 101 Quincy Coworking
    • Manage the day-to-day flow of the coworking space, including memberships, oversight and growth of the ambassador program, and daily space coverage and needs.
    • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence, ensuring consistent brand messaging across posts, email newsletters, and website blog posts.
    • Use market research to stay current on trends, track performance, and optimize results
    • Plan and execute engaging events for coworking members to increase space engagement. 

 

Desired Experience and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing/Communication/Administration
  • Experience running and organizing social media accounts with an understanding of marketing principles
  • Strong skills in communication, analysis, organization, interpersonal relations, and problem-solving are required.
  • Proficiency in Mac OS, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator), Canva, Mailchimp, MetaSuite, and LinkedIn
  • A keen eye for detail, design, and layout will set you apart.
  • **Entry Level Coordinator position available dependent on internship experience and skills

 

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Salary - $45,000 - $70,000, dependent on experience
