Education:
- Minimum - Bachelor's Degree
- Educational Certification / licensing
- Experience: Prior teaching experience preferred.

- Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction.
Core Responsibilities
Planning and Preparation
- Demonstrate an understanding of subject content and the biblical foundation of the curriculum.
- Design coherent lesson plans that integrate Biblical principles and meet students’ developmental needs.
- Use varied instructional strategies to establish a challenging, engaging learning environment.
- Analyze data to monitor student learning and adjust plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop course scope and sequence.
Classroom Instruction
- Inspire student learning, including Biblical worldview thinking, using effective instructional strategies.
- Use clear, goal-oriented teaching methods, including anticipatory sets, guided practice, and independent practice.
- Differentiate instruction to address individual student needs and foster critical thinking.
- Incorporate various teaching resources and methods to enhance student engagement.
Student Achievement
- Gather, analyze, and use data to measure student progress and guide instruction.
- Provide timely, effective feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records to track and report student progress.
- Use homework and assessments effectively for review, enrichment, or project work.
Learning Environment
- Cultivate a Christ-centered, well-managed environment for learning.
- Maintain a culture of respect, caring, and trust, emphasizing students’ self-worth in Christ.

Additional Duties
- Prepare materials and information for substitute teachers.
- Attend and participate in devotionals, faculty meetings, and committee assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the administration.

Performance for the Teacher will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

- Instructional Effectiveness: Demonstrates effective lesson planning, execution, and integration of Biblical principles in teaching.
- Student Achievement: Uses assessments and data to monitor progress and ensure measurable student growth.
- Classroom Management: Maintains a positive, Christ-centered learning environment with clear expectations for student behavior.
- Professional Development: Participates in professional growth opportunities and reflects on personal teaching effectiveness.
- Communication and Relationships: Maintains clear, respectful communication with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
- Adherence to Policies: Follows all school policies, procedures, and expectations with professionalism.
