Clinical Operations manages the clinical trials execution that leads to regulatory submissions and product clearance and launches. 

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Supporting all of our ongoing clinical studies including PLEX GI, Respiratory projects and MDX to MDX +
• Receive clinical samples
• Complete intake forms
• Aliquot clinical samples for various molecular testing
• Appropriately store clinical samples
• Prepare appropriate dilution for culture isolates for various request coming from Sales and MASs
• Assist in supporting business operations through assigned duties under Diasorin staff supervision.
• Shadow and network with employees on cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of overall company concept including the Diasorin brand, customers, product lines/goals and all other aspects of service.
• Provides ideas to grow and improve the business. Participates in department meetings and connect points.
• Participates in designated, business-focused projects to research, propose ideas and solutions and present a final Capstone project at the end of the internship.

Additional Responsibilities and Duties

• Clinical Operations Intern will receive and store clinical samples, complete intake forms and prepare dilution for culture isolation requests amongst supporting clinical studies and other projects that may arise.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications 

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in progress required. Currently enrolled in a University or College Program that is accredited. Preferred Area of Study: Biology, Molecular Biology or other Life Science Majors
• Capable of working and communicating within a multi-site environment both independently and as part of a team.
• Understands Biological Science
• Experience with lab techniques (i.e., pipetting) preferred
• Excellent Knowledge of
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Attention to Detail without losing site of the big picture
  • Being A Team Player
  • Operating with Professionalism

The hourly posting for this position is $20.00 Hourly.
