  2. Responsibilities
    1. Assist in all facets of crop planning, harvest and feeding. 
  3. Qualifications
    1. Required
      1. Plan soil sampling program and read soil sample
      2. Operate spreading, farming, harvesting, and tillage equipment with GPS autosteer
      3. Rotation planning
      4. Reading crops
      5. Harvest management
      6. Yearend analysis of inputs vs output of crop,    
        1. Cost per acre or cost per ton
      7. Irrigation
        1. Pivot and flood
        2. Recording water usage
      8. Create and maintain equipment maintenance records
      9. create and maintain nutrient plan and spreading plan
      10. execute farming plans 
      11. Take hay and forage sample
        1. input results into feeding programs to meet nutritional needs of various cattle classes
      12. operate and maintain equipment and infrastructure for feeding operations
      13. welding and mechanical skills
      14. USDA reporting 
    2. preferred
      1. CDL
      2. Some livestock knowledge
