Instructional Design Assistant 

Division: USC Bovard College 

Position Type: Off-Campus Work-study (student employment) 

Salary Level: $17.28 per hour 

Approximate Hours Per Week: 20 hours

Description: 

Work at least 10 hours a week to provide support for the Bovard College Instructional Design Team for an academic semester. This will include working with PC Windows or MAC OS. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Google Suite, Canvas, and Zoom is a plus. Training will be provided. Intermediate to more advanced skills in curriculum and instructional design are welcome to apply. This position works remotely. Please note this opportunity is not open to current USC employees.


 

Duties:

  • Ability to work remotely for at least 10 hours a week
  • Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision
  • Ability to support Google Drive organization and maintenance


 

Preferred Experience:

  • Candidate in the USC Rossier Master of Education in the Learning Design and Technology (MLDT) program
  • Relevant work experience in the design, development, and delivery of online course materials and education programs
  • Familiarity with HTML/HTML5, JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, and Articulate
  • Familiarity with APA formatting
