JOB SUMMARY: 

The Summer intern will experience working in a Laboratory setting within a corporate structure. By working in our fast-paced environment, the intern will increase their skills with organization, time management, and multitasking. 

SCHEDULE:

             Onsite schedule – 5 days/week – Piscataway Location

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete Flavor compounding and raw material inventory.
  • The individual will learn how to prioritize and efficiently complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • The individual can learn real business skills and have real world experience that can be beneficial for their career growth. This will create the confidence the individual needs in his/her professional life.

INTERNSHIP GOALS: 

  1. The intern will be provided with a real-world experience in the Food and Beverage industry.
  2. The intern will learn about lab safety, GMP and the importance of PPE giving them the knowledge to safely handle raw materials and food products.
  3. The intern will acquire knowledge of flavor compounding, raw material composition, and providing specifications for flavor formulations.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Preferred Major:  Chemistry or Biology
