Elementary School Principal

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for the Munn Elementary School Principal.  This position will provide leadership at Munn Elementary School, serving as an instructional leader, supporting district initiatives to enhance teaching and learning.

Immediate Supervisor:  Superintendent of Schools          

Required Credentials:  New York State Certification:  (S.A.S., S.B.L.)
                                                           
Preferred Credentials:  Successful teaching and instructional leadership experience;         

Exemplary knowledge of the distinctive qualities of elementary students;                                                       
Exemplary knowledge of the N.Y.S. Learning Standards and assessments;                                      
Exemplary knowledge of effective instructional strategies supporting the needs of all learners;                                        
Evidence of exemplary interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and interact with all staff and the community;                                              
Evidence of effective leadership, vision, presence, collaboration, technological proficiency, and exemplary facilitation, analytical, organizational, and managerial skills                                                         

Appointment:  Tenure track, twelve-month

Start Date:   June 2, 2025
