What You Will Do

Freshpet is looking for a Logistics Intern for Summer 2024 at our Bethlehem, PA facility. This summer internship approximate dates are from May 2025 to August 2025.  You will be working Monday – Friday, 40 hours maximum per week.

 

This position will support the Logistics Team but will gain a broad understanding of the Freshpet supply chain. 

 

 

 

How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Daily management of logistics operations, including problem solving for shipment issues.
  • Interaction with 3PL warehouse and transportation partners to ensure delivery of customer shipments on time.
  • Financial tracking of logistics costs, analysis and improvement projects to reduce costs.
  • Help support implementation of new logistics initiatives, to both support growth as well as focus on improving efficiency of Warehouse and Transportation operations.
  • Interact with and provide logistics support for other departments including Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing.

 

What You Will Bring 

  • Enrolled at an accredited college/university while working towards a bachelor’s degree in supply chain.
  • At a minimum in your sophomore year, in good standing as a full-time undergraduate student at your college or University
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite - particularly Excel
  • Willingness to perform a variety of tasks necessary to support the organization
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and quick acclimation to systems
  • Learn quickly and work well independently
  • Collaborate, communicate and work effectively in a team environment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Works with assigned priorities, projects and timelines concurrently
