Summer Internship at RIA 

Internship Period:

10 weeks starting June 9th with 2 vacation days and 2 holidays. All time off requests must be approved in advance.

Standard hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 5pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

All work will be in office in McLean, VA 22102.

 Payment:  $18/hour with delivery of time sheet

 Benefits: No benefits extended for internship. No health insurance or retirement plan.

 Description of Internship Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Financial Advisors in researching and tracking investment models and strategies
  • Learn the practical application of investment and financial planning concepts
  • Assist in the management and operations of a Registered Investment Advisor firm including tasks and projects as assigned by the client service team
  • Exposure to investment management analytical tools:  Excel, Money Guide Pro, Koyfin, Advyzon, Pontera and Holistiplan
  • Assist Financial Advisors by running client reports and Planning Tools
