Cultured Kombucha Co seeks a quick-thinking, strategic, and relationship-building team member to build our growing distribution and sales market. Food and Beverage experience is preferred. The ideal intern is self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the communication skills required to grow our diversifying revenue stream.
This position will be responsible for daily account visits, merchandising, relationship building with clients, and in-store promotional efforts.
Success in this role means taking an organized and analytical approach to your day to day work with schedule planning, excellent product knowledge and a curiosity to build our brand awareness. Success is documented in this role by growing account relationships, executing in-store promotions and samplings, and product promotion within your sales territory. A strong knack for closing sales, creative collaborations, clear communication, and a constant desire to learn is key.

Position Summary:
This team member is dedicated to sales, education, company growth, and marketing of handcrafted kombucha. Our goal is to introduce a lifestyle of health and wellness to our end clients and retail partners.
The primary function is to develop sales and increase sales volume to grow Cultured Kombucha Co. products in the Food and Beverage market.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent presentation and communication skills (oral & written).
- Self-motivation through target driven sales and time management.
- Must demonstrate proficiency or be willing to learn within Microsoft Office, GSuite, Pipedrive CRM, and cell phone technologies.
- Requires lifting/carrying of 20-40lbs. cases of product for samples and travel throughout assigned territory.
Daily/Position Responsibilities:
- Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
- Connect customers with appropriate distribution partners and networks.
- Work directly with distribution partners and customers to create a fluid relationship.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of accounts.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering market information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommend changes by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Utilize sample inventories to promote product sales
- Participate in sales meetings, on-site trainings, and trade events
- Maintain a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Conduct in-store tastings and staff trainings for accounts to promote product sales.
Education/Experience:
Senior in college or Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Food and beverage sales preferred as experience.
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Friday, 2x Saturdays per month. Promotional events with advanced planning
License/Certification:
- Driver's License
