Administrative Social Media Marketing Assistant/Interns

We are seeking proactive, self-motivated, and highly organized individuals to support the Director/Founder in day-to-day operations at Perry School. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and can collaborate effectively with the team.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Full-time & Part-time positions available, including weekends
  • Location: Perry School, NYC
  • Salary Range: Competitive pay based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist with daily operations, including opening/closing the facility, organizing materials, and ensuring smooth class transitions
  • Manage and respond to emails professionally and efficiently
  • Support the Director/Founder with scheduling, calendar management, and administrative tasks
  • Greet and assist parents, children, and staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and workspaces

Marketing & Social Media Management

  • Support social media content creation, scheduling, and engagement
  • Assist in marketing efforts, including email campaigns, flyers, and event promotions
  • Help maintain and update the Wix website with accurate information and branding

Event & Program Coordination

  • Help organize and coordinate classes, workshops, and special events
  • Engage with parents and children to ensure a positive experience
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down events

Problem-Solving & Team Collaboration

  • Anticipate challenges and provide solutions to improve daily operations
  • Work closely with the team to ensure an efficient and welcoming environment

Qualifications:

Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
✅ Experience with email management, scheduling, and administrative tools
✅ Basic knowledge of social media platforms, marketing tools, and Wix website management
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
✅ Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
✅ Comfortable working with children, families, and staff in a school setting

Additional Requirements:

✔️ Must be available to work in-person in NYC
✔️ Weekend availability preferred
✔️ Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
