Job Summary:
The CRM intern is responsible for support of the CRM team in relationship to ongoing initiatives. By the end of the internship period, we expect the CRM intern to research and provide reports on internal data as requested by the direction of the Director of Loyalty and eCommerce. The CRM intern will learn skills associated with data analysis, primary research, documentation, and data mining. The CRM intern will also learn how different pieces of the organization work together to provide personalized content to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Support Primary Research tactics to enable long-term reporting of customer satisfaction metrics.
- Maintenance of customer data associated with CRM and eCommerce initiatives, including customer behavior data, multi-channel purchasing behavior and customer demographic data.
- Attend company functions and networking opportunities as made available to the intern class.
- Complete a long-term summer project, which will include the use of Nielsen data to create tools for internal teams to support assortment mix and product attribution, with the support of a Sr. Insights Analyst.
- Shadow multiple CRM and Marketing team members; provide perspective on team roles and responsibilities as they relate to the organization.
- Support implementation of new CRM solution, as needed.
- Data analysis and reporting projects, including customer targeting support, Vendor Marketing Engagement support, and email reporting support.
- Ad hoc reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Working toward bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, BI, MIS, Business, or a related field of study.
- Working knowledge of Excel, including demonstrated formula usage.
- Energetic and eager to learn and contribute to a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize, with a focus on time-management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
