Sales Consultant
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Greets customers and assists them as required to maintain the highest level of customer service, guide them through our showroom and website to present product
Consultants are responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers, networking within the community to drive traffic
Sales experience, preferably with furniture or other large ticket or luxury merchandise, however ongoing training and support are provided to assist you with your success.
Strong commitment to meeting and surpassing our customer’s needs
Maintain thorough knowledge of all vendor products, pricing, and local competition to effectively share product knowledge with our customers to guide them to the correct decisions to meet their home’s needs and measurements
Demonstrate initiative to grow your business and achieve monthly goals
Work in an upbeat, fast paced, positive team environment
Be comfortable working both independently and as a part of the team to achieve success
Demonstrate comfort with basic computer skills, time management and organizational skills
Actively listen to and engage customers , using appropriate selling skills to match the customer's needs, and ensure their decisions build long-term relationships
Detail oriented, monitor all open price quotes, provide follow-up on all orders from sale through delivery
Build/maintain a client base and provide creative furnishing solutions for customers’ needs
Be willing to work as needed, holidays, weekends, in order to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Customer service and people skills, selling to customer needs.
Product knowledge. General math skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, listening and leadership skills.
Initiative to meet assigned sales goals, missions and objectives.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport.
Dependable.
