2025 Summer Staff

Position Objective:

We are looking for spiritually motivated individuals who are passionate about serving the Lord and others. We offer a unique chance to represent the kingdom through service in various departments. Your main responsibility will be in children's ministry, but you may also have the opportunity to work in other areas as needed. Will you answer the call to serve?

Job Requirements:

In love with the Lord, has a hear for discipleship and open to the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
A genuine love for working with youth of all ages.
Willing to grow the ministry by seeking a need and being supportive.
When not actively serving (downtime), spending time alone for devotion and growing in your personal relation with the Lord.
Doing things joyfully, even the things that you may not find to be the most enjoyable.
Putting others needs above your own.
Attend schedule staff meetings.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Care for assigned age group during the time that their parents are attending our services
Follow system set in place by Children’s Ministry Director for weekly schedule planning
Seek to develop positive, loving relationships with children and youth
Teach Bible lessons connecting to weekly themes to assigned age group
Follow system set in place by Children’s Ministry Director for weekly schedule planning
Build comradery with other counselors by resolving problems, achieving goals, and completing assignments cooperatively and effectively
Maintain safe and proper storage of all equipment
Finish other duties and projects as assigned and scheduled by Children’s Ministry Director
Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of the guests when on the grounds
Assist with other aspects of the ministry as a whole including Food Service, Dining Hall, Housekeeping and Pool Attendee.

Duration:

May - August/September with potential to continue on staff

Accommodations:

Room and board included (bunking with fellow counselors in separate male and female rooms)
Most meals included
Paid position
