Event Coordinator Assistant

Assists Event Coordinator and Senior Managers with the scheduling and coordination of events, seminars, conferences, and other member orientated services. A flexible work schedule is required. 

Summary of Essential job functions:

  • attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
  • when requested, assist the event coordination with review on employees, which may include hiring, disciplinary actions and scheduling.
  • Supervises and manages events. Will assist in areas as needed to ensure a successful event. This may include assisting in: set-up and break-down of event, bartending, serving, meeting with clients, overseeing staff, problem solving .
  • co-coordinate and manage all aspects of events, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.
  • develop event concepts and themes.
  • ensure all event requirements are met on time and withing budget.
  • ensure that all event-related documents are completed in a timely manner.
