Town of Gilbert Native American Management Internship
Local Government Management Internship offered by the Town of Gilbert for students studying in fields relating to government, American Indian studies, public administration, public policy or business leadership. Applicants must also be interested in pursuing a career in public service to Native American communities or organizations upon graduation.
- Gain knowledgeable insight on innovative practices in the Gilbert organization
- Attend town-related events, council and senior staff meetings, internal and external professional meetings.
- Make presentations to council, executive staff and various organizations.
- Work on executive level projects, conduct research and program analysis
- Interact with staff and the Gilbert community to assist in building enrichment and awareness of Native American culture and issues
Interns must demonstrate a commitment to learning, communicating and serving others. Public speaking and presentations are a required component of the internship. For more information click here.
