Position Summary
Acolyte Health is seeking a Content Specialist with a strong foundation in digital content creation, including video editing, presentation design, and copywriting. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Content Lead and Acolyte’s clients to outline, design and deliver high-quality video and visual assets, transforming text-heavy healthcare and benefits information into visually compelling, easy to understand videos that engage and inform end-users.
This role is ideal for someone skilled in creating content that follows a narrative or journey, designing visually appealing presentations, and performing basic video editing. You’ll bring these skills together to develop engaging and interactive video content that makes a strong impact in the healthcare and health benefits sectors. You should be comfortable using AI-powered tools to increase efficiency and enhance content quality. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to quickly adapt designs to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Design
- Create visually engaging, easy to understand video content by transforming complex, text-heavy healthcare and benefits information into clear, compelling visuals and interactive experiences.
- Take the lead at writing video scripts, survey questions, and other written materials, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and aligned with project goals.
- Develop storyboards and structure scripts creatively to clearly present video concepts to clients.
- Apply design and copywriting skills to make healthcare and benefits information accessible and engaging for end-users.
Project & Quality Management:
- Work closely with the Content Lead and Client Services team to ensure all content aligns with client standards, project objectives, and timelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Quickly address any inconsistencies, errors, or quality concerns.
Client Engagement & Support:
- Utilize the Acolyte platform to deliver campaigns efficiently, managing updates as needed to ensure timely campaign launches.
- Collaborate directly with clients and internal team to finalize scripts and videos, providing guidance on best practices and incorporating feedback through multiple rounds of edits.
- Support clients and Content Lead in creating digital avatars by providing guidance on best practices for content capture.
Innovation & Improvement:
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance campaign engagement and improve client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on trends in digital design, health communication, and patient activation for continuous improvement.
- Help establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize process workflows in the Content department.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years in digital content creation, graphic design, or video production, preferably in a healthcare, health benefits, or educational setting.
- Technical & Design Proficiency: Skilled in PowerPoint design, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or Canva, with basic video editing and animation experience preferred.
- Copywriting Expertise: Strong skills in writing clear, engaging content for the general public and patient/employee audiences.
- Healthcare (Clinical) Literacy & Communication: Ability to translate complex clinical healthcare information into accessible, easy-to-understand materials.
- Health Benefits Literacy & Communication: Ability to translate complex health benefits information into accessible, easy-to-understand materials.
- Understanding of AI Video Technology: Knowledge of how AI video is transforming content creation, with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance engagement (generative AI, LLMs, digital humans, etc.).
- Interest in Technology: Willingness to stay updated on advancements in AI and video content industry trends.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Quick learner, open to feedback, and maintains high attention to detail.
