Part-Time Meter Specialist

SUMMARY:

As a part-time Meter Specialist, this person is responsible for performing meter read entries and audits, as well as meter collections onsite and over the phone. This individual will also greet customers, intake packages, and perform supply orders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Call customers for meter reading collections and perform meter reading entries
  • Run audit process for correct meter reads, contacts, and contract information
  • Process incoming mail and add incoming checks daily, before giving to the Accounts Receivable department
  • Add and update customer records in E-Automate
  • Greet internal and external customers upon entry to branch location
  • Accept packages and submit slips for parts received
  • Perform monthly supply orders to maintain branch inventory
  • Utilize excel spreadsheets as necessary for the above processes
  • Resolve inquires from customers and sales personnel about meter collections

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

A Meter Specialist works primary in the office and must be able to sit for an extended period of time. This person may travel in order to perform on-site meter collections.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred
