Role Description

Chemist Media is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This is a full-time, entry-level role focused on inside sales, lead generation, and early-stage sales development. As a BDR, you will drive top-of-funnel growth through activities like cold calling, lead qualification, and initial nurturing of prospects. This role offers a clear pathway to promotion as a full-time Account Executive, providing an excellent opportunity to grow your career in media sales.

This position is primarily remote (90%), with occasional in-person meetings required, so candidates must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

 

Qualifications

  • Inside sales and sales skills: Prior experience is a plus, but raw talent and drive are just as valuable.
  • Lead generation capabilities: We'll provide thorough training to help you succeed.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage prospects and clients.
  • Business development experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
  • Experience in the advertising or marketing industry is a strong advantage.

 

Compensation

  • Year 1 On-Target Earnings (OTE): $51,000–$75,000+
  • Starting salary: $33,600
  • Plus: Uncapped commission and performance-based bonuses
