Postdoctoral Fellow
The Melo-Cardenas laboratory in the Pathology Department is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study inflammation and blood cancers. Specifically, our research focuses on understanding the regulators of inflammatory signaling in hematopoietic cells, both in normal and malignant conditions. By leveraging advanced technologies, mouse models, and patient samples, we aim to discover new therapeutic strategies to slow the progression of hematological cancers.
Qualifications for candidates:
- Strong interest and prior record of conducting basic or translational research
- Highly motivated individual with a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree
- Experience working with mice, flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques
- Bioinformatics experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent writing, collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
