Outreach and Marketing Specialist Paid Intern

Maroon 9 Community Enrichment Organization is a youth-focused theatre arts organization dedicated to empowering young performers and promoting arts education. We engage communities through theatre arts, literacy programs, and cultural performances. Our mission is to inspire, empower, and develop youth through the transformative power of the arts. Our vision is to develop youth of and off the stage.

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Outreach & Marketing Specialist for a 6-month paid internship position to support our community engagement and promotional efforts. This intern will help expand our audience reach, develop engaging content, and strengthen relationships with schools, organizations, and the broader community. 

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Marketing & Promotion: Assist in developing marketing campaigns for upcoming performances, programs, and special events.
  • Social Media Management: Create and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), engaging with followers and tracking analytics.
  • Content Creation: Design promotional materials, write press releases, and produce newsletters to highlight programs and success stories.
  • Community Outreach: Connect with local schools, organizations, and businesses to build partnerships and increase program visibility.
  • Event Support: Assist in coordinating outreach events, community engagement activities, and promotional tabling.
  • Audience Engagement: Implement strategies to grow and diversify our audience base, including youth, educators, and families.
  • Data & Reporting: Track engagement metrics and compile reports on outreach effectiveness.
