Absolute provides supplemental healthcare to long term care nursing facilities throughout Ohio including skilled, rehab and assisted living centers.
We are seeking dependable and qualified nurses to add to our team. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive rates & more! We have a need for day shift and night shift. We have 8's and 12's.

Our Candidate Requirements:
- Valid Ohio LPN or RN license
- Valid CPR
- Long term care experience (at least 2 months)
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to commit to shifts on a continuous basis, must be willing to commit to full shifts and arrive at the shift start time
Responsibilities
Duties to be performed shall include but not limited to the following:
- Administers nursing care to residents according to physician’s orders, such as medications & treatments in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and current Standards of Practice
- Directs and evaluates as necessary, the direct resident care services provided within their assigned area of responsibility. Initiates necessary corrective action promptly.
- Evaluation and assistance to the direct care staff, such as the nursing assistants, rehab, aides, and or other care givers or employees in the assigned area.
- Coordinates the nursing services in the unit with other departments as necessary.
- Maintains accurate, timely and complete records of nursing observations and care of the resident, their condition, medication, treatment, and resident response or lack of response to care provided.
- Assigns job responsibilities and duties for nursing unit personnel as necessary.
- Observes the patient’s condition and reports changes of the condition and the need for nursing measures beyond his/her knowledge.
- Contacts Physicians and families and necessary facility personnel to advise of any changes in the resident’s condition.
- Can participate and complete admission, transfer and discharge protocols established in the facility as necessary.
- Maintain standards of nursing practice and principles to prevent the spread of infection and contagious diseases.
- To insure appropriate, efficient and effective utilization of supplies and equipment.
- As a representative of the agency, to maintain and enhance public relations.
- Updates professional knowledge and skills continually through attendance and participation in continuing education and in-services classes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Must be in good physical condition as job requires walking, standing, reaching, bending, stretching, lifting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing, pulling, sitting, squatting, twisting. Must be physically capable of frequently lifting 50 pounds for patient transfers, push/pull 20 pound wheelchairs, 45 pound Geri-chairs. Must be physically capable of performing patient transfers as required. Good finger and hand dexterity needed to do a variety of tasks. Visual acuity and accuracy necessary. Must have good emotional health.
