Investment Banking Summer Analyst Intern - Summer 2025 (In person Scottsdale, AZ)

martinwolf is a 25+year old boutique investment bank headquartered in Scottsdale, and member FINRA, SIPC, providing merger and acquisition advisory services to IT services, IT solutions, SaaS, and business process outsourcing companies.

Applicants will be reached out to on a rolling basis until all 2 intern Analyst positions are filled. All interns will be in person at the Scottsdale Office. Summer Interns are paid $1,200/month.

Requirements:

·    Hard working, self-starting team player with an intense desire to learn the essentials of mergers and acquisitions

·    Keen interest in Investment Banking and IT

·    Demonstrated strong financial interest and aptitude

·    Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and preferably CRM tools

·    Experience and passion for performing data and industry analyses

·    Excellent writing and presentation skills

·    Basic accounting and finance aptitude

·    Start Date to be discussed

·    90 day commitment minimum, IN PERSON (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities Will Include:

·    Prepare presentations, pitch books and other related materials

·    Analyze business performance, market opportunities, investments, and make actionable recommendations

·    Provide support and analyses for M&A transactions

·    Extensive company profiling and industry analyses

·    Update database and prospect lists

Details:

·    Learning Outcomes - an in depth and hands on experience of accounting, finance, investment banking, and the M&A process; including a mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, and an understanding of the IT space.

·    Interns will receive training on conducting industry research, sales, creating PowerPoint decks, Excel modeling, M&A negotiation skills, management of due diligence, and much more.
