Annual Salary: $254,136.00 - $728,220.00

Core Duties for Senior Physician (Forensic Pathology):
- Conduct and Oversee Investigations: Manage medico-legal examinations of sudden, unexpected, and violent deaths.
- Develop and Implement Policies: Direct medical programs and coordinate with public health and law enforcement.
- Ensure Quality and Compliance: Assign and review autopsy cases for quality assurance.
- Train and Educate: Mentor medical students, interns, and residents.
- Oversee Administration: Manage resources, personnel, and records to support operations.
Needed to Qualify:
- Completion of a residency approved by an American Specialty Board in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology* - AND - a fellowship in Forensic Pathology or equivalent training** - AND - One (1) year of experience in medical practice, post graduate training, teaching, or investigative work.

- California State Physician and Surgeon's Certificate authorized by the Board of Medical Examiners of the State of California.
- Certification by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
