Job Description: Plan and coordinate the activities and resources necessary for shipping product in accordance with multiple customer specifications/requirements.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review shipping schedules or customer requirements to make daily decisions concerning inventory, customer trucking needs, and shipping dates
- Work with shipping personnel to communicate and coordinate daily shipping requirements
- Manage customer specific release requirements
- Interface with SPF Sales and SPF MFG Production control to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Prepare, submit, and maintain all customer specific requirements
- Monitor daily returnable plastic dunnage fleets – both inbound and outbound. Communicate issues with using customer locations and manage resolution.
- Completion/Review of Fleet Calculators for new & existing parts that require customer returnable dunnage.
- Coordinate inventory with distribution supervisors, manufacturing production control and sales to meet shipping schedules.
- Prepare, submit, and maintain part specific customer packaging requirements.
- Daily monitoring of customer delivery ratings – review, communicate, gather evidence for corrective action(s)
- Dispute customer shipping discrepancies
- Manage customer requests after-hours and during weekends. Assist in weekend window coverage
- Facilitate / assist weekly meetings on the shop floor and special project teams
Required Skills:
