POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Higgins Group is looking to expand our team with a full-time or part-time Research Analyst to help meet the high level of demand for our services in the life sciences industry. As a Research Analyst, you will provide critical support to our research strategy team through use of our first-rate executive search database and tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support execution of research strategies through expertise with our company database
- Conduct extensive updates of existing records in our internal system to uphold data integrity and ensure accuracy
- Bolster database with additional biopharma leaders
- Leverage our extensive database and external sources to provide relevant candidate/company target lists
- Provide research and analysis of industry, company, and therapeutic area happenings in the market
- Assist with data reports for clients, detailing candidate marketplace landscape, outreach efforts, and interview statuses
Fundamental Skills and Characteristics:
- BS/BA degree preferred, ideally in life sciences or a business-related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Prior full-time work experience valued but not necessary
- A deeply service-oriented mentality
- Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and self-motivated
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic mindset
- Problem-solver who takes initiative, and enjoys creative thinking
- Exceptional work ethic
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize with excellent time management skills
- Prior experience using a database is ideal
