Digital Marketing Intern

The Moran Group is an experienced team of advertising professionals passionate about their clients' success. We have been in business for nearly 40 years as a fully integrated advertising agency creating long-lasting partnerships with our clients. We handle everything in-house, from digital to traditional advertising, including creative strategy and production.

Internship Objectives:
The Digital Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in various facets of digital marketing, providing an invaluable opportunity to develop skills and knowledge that are essential to thrive in the industry. This position requires you to be in the New Orleans office 15-20 hours per week.

This internship is will provide knowledge and experience within the following areas:

  1. Website Maintenance:
    • Assist in updating and managing website content to ensure it is current and aligned with marketing strategies.
    • Learn to use website management tools and platforms
    • Assisting Digital Content Coordinators on client related tasks
  2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
    • Support the SEO team with content creation and build out
    • Assist in implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies to enhance website visibility.
  3. Social Media Content Creation:
    • Collaborate with the team to create engaging and relevant content for various social media channels.
    • Help plan and schedule social media posts and analyze engagement metrics.
    • Assisting Social Media specialists on client related tasks
  4. Paid Search Marketing:
    • Learn about paid search campaigns, including Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms
    • Assist in monitoring and maintenance of campaigns and identifying areas for improvement

Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work 15-20 hours/week and located in the Greater New Orleans Area
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and tools is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
