About Us:

Shirts from Fargo is a locally owned custom apparel company specializing in high-quality printed and heat-pressed designs. We take pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Intern to join our team! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the custom apparel industry.

Internship Responsibilities:

  • Weeding Vinyl – Removing excess vinyl from designs before application.
  • Order Review & Accuracy Check – Verifying order details, including sizes, quantities, and design placement.
  • Shipping & Order Pickup Prep – Packaging orders for shipping, updating the system, and notifying customers when their orders are ready.
  • Heat Pressing Apparel – Assisting in applying designs to clothing using a heat press.
  • Customer Assistance – Answering phones and assisting customers at the door.
  • Order Organization – Matching clothing and transfers (artwork) with the correct orders.
  • Freight Handling – Organizing and matching incoming clothing shipments with orders.
  • General Organization & Cleanliness – Helping maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and work with heat presses and vinyl (training provided).
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • No prior experience required – perfect for students looking to gain hands-on experience!

Schedule & Perks:

  • Flexible part-time internship – Choose your own hours within Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
