
Registered Behavior Technician

Headstart is looking to pair passionate, dedicated individuals with small business owners in their community to provide exceptional ABA services to children and families! This is an opportunity to work with a small ABA company owned by a local BCBA. You will have local support and mentorship throughout your ABA career.
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their homes. Under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will learn how to safely and effectively run a variety of skill acquisition programs. Through the implementation of these individualized treatment plans, you will help each client learn transformative skills that will have a profound impact for years to come.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, in-person ABA therapy to clients in their homes
- Collect and record accurate data to monitor client progress and treatment efficacy
- Ensure appropriate billing for all appointments through timely conversion of online data and notes
- Respect client privacy and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for individuals with special needs
- Energetic, kind, dependable, and excited to learn and grow alongside your clients
- Must have driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from client homes
- Ability to pass background check
- High school diploma
- Must be 18 years of age by date of hire
- Ability to move in various positions (i.e. sit, squat, bend, crawl etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to receive and apply feedback on an ongoing basis
- Must have an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
