Implementation Analyst Intern

We are currently recruiting for an Implementation Analyst Intern for DHL Supply Chain’s IT team in Westerville, OH. This is primarily a desk job. 

While in the role, they will also participate in a formalized Summer Internship Program. The goal of the program is to enhance student’s business acumen through continuous learning and networking opportunities. Throughout the summer, interns have the opportunity to:

•Participate in a series of webinars that focus on professional networking, communication and presentation skills

•Listen and ask questions to our executives through our Executive Speaker Series

•Collaborate with other interns across the U.S. and Canada on a Capstone Project that focuses on improving various aspects of our business for our customers

•Travel to Westerville, OH to present their Capstone Project to leadership teams at the Intern Capstone Event, which is hosted at the end of each summer at our headquarters

•Network with other interns and business leaders across all regions and business segments within the organization

•Be considered for full time roles

Primary Duties:

•Exposure to implementing and supporting business systems solutions (primarily warehouse management systems-WMS) that meet or exceed customers’ and internal business partners’ business requirements within the respective DHL Supply Chain Division.

•Support and assist in quality delivery of an IT solution. The IT solution delivery includes effective system setup, training, implementation and post implementation support.

•Exposure to the current, the development and publishing of work processes, which could include User Acceptance testing and facilitation in the development of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) between DHL Supply Chain and the client.

Implementation Analyst Intern’s are involved with:

•Analyzing customer and business partner requirements in order to understand and apply systems implementation concepts and principles to effectively support business systems solutions.

•Learning and applying IT & internal team methodologies and procedures to assist with system functions and implementations.

•Exposure to the development of implementation and support cost estimates.

•Preparing and delivers status reports to team leader, senior management and other project leaders.

•Running SQL queries.
