The Forward Program is Crown’s 2-year ROTATIONAL premier development early in career program. We are seeking bright and dynamic new college graduates who are eager to gain exposure to every facet of our business including operations, customer service, demand planning, contracts and pricing, marketing and production planning. As a Forward hire, you will receive high level coaching and mentoring to advance you through the learning curve as you take on greater responsibilities.
Some specifics on the program are as follows:
- Two-year rotational program across several North America plants and corporate HQ. The program is broken down into 3x 9-months experiences intended to give you exposure and opportunities to work on various projects with different people across Crown.
- If you are interested, you must be willing and able to relocate. Crown provides a generous relocation package as part of the program
- Upon completion of the program, you will be fully prepared for career advancement opportunities in Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, Production Planning and other critical areas for the business.
Job Requirements
Requirements for this position would include the following:
- BS level degree in Packaging Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or other related fields.
- 1 previous internship in a manufacturing environment preferred (not a requirement)
- Self-starter, eager to take initiative with an idea-rich mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting but driven to ensure decisions are made completely independently with limited supervision as needed.
- Well organized and detail oriented with outstanding time management skills
- Superior PC skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as proven presentation skills.
- Ability to travel (car and/or plane) up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to relocate for the Program and advancement opportunities
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to completion
