Looking for experience at an early-stage startup? Considering a future career in sales or business development and looking to build your resume and make a direct impact on a mission-oriented company. We are seeking a sales intern to join our team in a part-time capacity. The role will focus on contact collection and pipeline generation, with high-performers growing to handle outbound outreach, process inbound outreach, and draft comms flows. You’ll work directly with the founding team. In total this role is estimate to require 10-15 hours per week for a current student.
Responsibilities
- Gather contact information for priority outbound leads
- Market research as Loper expands its partner network beyond 4-yr colleges
- Written and verbal outreach via email, calls, and LinkedIn
Role Duration & Compensation
- Initial 2-month commitment, with the opportunity to extend for 2 additional months depending on performance
- Note: We expect summer opportunities to be available but anticipate slightly different role structure given additional hours available. Our preference is always to continue working with high-performers who we have already onboarded!
- $500 per month stipend

- Strong communication skills, particularly as a concise but professional writer and verbal communicator
- An ability to manage deadlines and work independently
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can juggle multiple tasks.
- Growth mindset and a person who embraces and actions upon feedback
Preferred experience
- High degree of comfort with spreadsheets
- Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity
- (Bonus) Familiarity with CRMs like Hubspot

Hiring process
What to expect
- 20 minute intro conversation with Loper’s CEO or COO
- Offline contact collection task (1-2 hours max) to measure candidate role-alignment
- 30 minute meeting with Loper team to review task and better understand interest + fit with role and future growth within Loper
