Reports To: Family Activity Center Director and Assistant Director

Position Overview: The Pool Management Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the pool facility, gaining hands-on experience in recreational management, safety protocols, and customer service. This individual will also have a support role in all pool related events and swim team related activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in hospitality, sports management, or facility operations to learn in a professional and dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily pool operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and general upkeep of the facility.
• Monitor pool safety and enforce rules to ensure a safe environment for all members and guests.
• Collaborate with the FAC Director and lifeguard team to schedule and oversee staffing needs.
• Organize and help execute poolside events, swim lessons, and member activities.
• Maintain inventory of pool supplies, including chemicals, safety equipment, and cleaning materials.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Support the FAC Director in administrative tasks such as record-keeping, reporting, and compliance with local health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Recreation Management, Sports Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of pool safety, lifeguard certification (preferred but not required).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Skills and Attributes:
