Opportunity 1: Rental and Sales Supervisor:

This internship opportunity is a critical role in our Rental Company’s mission to provide outstanding recreational experiences to our Customers by providing outstanding customer service and maximizing the number of rental outings during the 2024 boating season. If you are motivated by interfacing with customers in-person, over the phone, and through website inquiries to schedule outings and reservations then this Internship may be for you. If you are comfortable providing paddle sport and power boat orientations and are committed to safety and enforcing safety protocols, then this internship may be for you. If you also enjoy accurately preparing paperwork, collecting customer payments and working with management to reconcile finances each week then this Internship may be for you.

 Other duties include but are not limited to assisting with Marketing and Sales activities, implementing social media initiatives, drafting and editing communications, capturing demographic information from Prospects, entering data into CRM software, and disbursing marketing material. 

Qualifications: Must be available to work early April to end of September, WEEKENDS and SUMMER HOLIDAYS ARE CRUCIAL as we are tourism based. Must be able to work outside in the HOT (95F+) sun. Must have reliable transportation. 

Qualified candidates will possess and demonstrate these traits: 
• Great customer service skills for both customers who are delighted or customers who may present more difficult challenges 
• Able to work with customers to professionally and courteously resolve disputes within company guidelines 
• Self-starter able to work efficiently with multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
• Persistence, dedication, and commitment to do a job well every time. 

• Demonstrated trustworthiness to handle money 
• Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and experience with Microsoft Excel • Positive attitude and ability to adapt and work well as part of a winning team.
