Quality Assurance Technician (Vacancy Relief)
- Compensation: $22.12 an hour. At two years of employment, employee will receive $27.65 an hour.
- Schedule: *This position requires flexibility with scheduling*
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends. This position covers vacancies on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.
- When not covering a vacant shift, default schedule will be Monday - Friday, 6pm - 2:30am.
- Overtime is available on a as needed basis
Job Description
The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative tests of raw materials and finished goods.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished goods throughout all stages of the production process
- Analyze syrup, water, and / or beverage attributes
- Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters and coders to insure proper operations
- Conduct quality inspections and audits of packaging and isolate product that does not meet standards
- Test CO2 and raw materials prior to production process
- Maintain highest standards of cleanliness to prevent microbial contamination
Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in production / manufacturing or 2+ years of relevant lab technician experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials
