Senior Graphic Designer

Senior Graphic Designer, Alabama Rural Electric Association 

Position Summary:

The senior graphic designer is primarily responsible for the overall design and production of Alabama Living print magazine and oversees design projects for the Alabama Rural Electric Association. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing and coordinating all common pages for the AREA monthly member magazine, Alabama Living
• Coordinating advertising placement
• Coordinating workflow with the magazine printer
• Designing advertising for local co-op sections when needed 
• Repurposing magazine content for digital platforms to compliment the printed magazine. 
• Works closely with the art director to coordinate all aspects of magazine production,

as well as printing needs for the association, to include working with local printers as needed

• Other duties as assigned by management

Skills Needed:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, photo manipulation software. Excellent communications skills a plus.
